About the Institution
Intertiol College has a long and illustrious history as one of the finest educatiol institutions in the world. Founded in 1891 in Smyr, Turkey, IC moved to Beirut in 1936 at the invitation of the American University of Beirut. IC shares its main campus in Ras Beirut with the American University of Beirut. In addition, the Ain Aar campus, north of the city, is home to 800 students in grades pre-K through middle school. Intertiol College offers challenging academic programs at all levels. Students learn English, French and Arabic, and most graduates are trilingual. At the secondary level students follow one of four curricular tracks: the Lebanese Baccalaureate, the French Baccalaureate, the College Preparatory Program, or the Intertiol Baccalaureate.
