About the Institution
Students entering the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) must successfully pass a one year intensive English program. The English Language Center (ELC) at the IPA is responsible for this intensive English program. There are four sessions each academic year, each session being eight weeks. Currently CALL is being integrated into a skill based program. Teachers in the program must have completed an MA in TESL/TEFL or Applied Linguistics. The faculty of the ELC represent many different cultures and nationalities. We currently have teachers from the US, Canada, Britain Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and several different Arabic countries, including of course Saudi Arabia.
