About the Institution
The Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, du Bâtiment et de l’Industrie (ESTP) was founded in 1891 as a private higher education institution and officially recognized by the State in 1921. The ESTP is habilitated to award national diplomas and degrees by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and accreditated to award the engineering degree “diplôme d’ingénieur” by national authority “Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs”. Since November 1999, the non-profit-making association ESTP is closely associated with another, state-owned, French « Grande Ecole d’Ingénieurs » :
